This policy explains what happens to your data when you visit quokkasim.com, write to us, or (once the store is open) buy a plan. The seller of record is LuKas Holdings sp. z o.o., ul. Stefana Batorego 18/108, 02-591 Warsaw, Poland, and it is the controller of the personal data described here.
What this site measures
Nothing is measured until you accept analytics in the cookie banner. Until then, the site sets no analytics cookie and sends no data about your visit. If you accept, our own first-party collector counts page visits: which pages you open, roughly how long a visit lasts and which language you read. It is operated by us, on our own servers, and the data is not shared with advertising networks.
If you accept marketing cookies as well, we measure our own advertising on Facebook and Instagram. Without that choice, no advertising script loads at all.
You can change or withdraw either choice at any time through “Cookie settings” in the footer. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as a refusal.
What we store, and why
- Support email. When you write to contact@quokkasim.com, we keep the correspondence to answer you and to improve our answers. We delete it when it is no longer needed.
- An order (once the store is open) stores what is needed to deliver the plan and to handle refunds: the email address money was paid with, the plan, the payment reference processed by our payment provider, and the acceptance of our terms.
- Visits, if you accepted analytics: page addresses, referrer, a coarse device and browser description, and a random visitor id kept in a cookie.
What we never do
- We do not sell or rent personal data to anyone.
- We do not share it with advertising networks beyond the measurement you can refuse in the banner.
- We do not use dark patterns: the banner’s “OK” and “Adjust” buttons stand side by side, and analytics and marketing are off by default.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask for a copy of your personal data, its correction or deletion, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. Write to contact@quokkasim.com; we answer within a month at the latest. You also have the right to complain to the Polish supervisory authority (UODO).
