Every factual claim on this site carries the date it was last checked, and the pages name their sources. This page explains where those sources are.
Network and coverage notes
The notes about Telstra, Optus and Vodafone follow the carriers’ own coverage pages on telstra.com.au, optus.com.au and vodafone.com.au, read on 30 September 2026. Where we describe an area as harder to reach, that sentence follows the carriers’ published coverage, not a ranking of one network against another.
Prices
QuokkaSIM raises its own prices; it does not copy them from anyone. When a plan is on sale, the page shows the total price and the date it was checked. Where we compare our price with another seller’s, the sentence names that seller’s page and the day we read it, and the comparison is scoped to the plans named in it.
Questions and answers
The FAQ answers are written for the question as travellers type it, and each answer shows the date its facts were checked. When a fact changes, for example a carrier policy, the answer is rewritten and the date is moved.
Devices
The compatibility notes follow the manufacturers’ own lists of eSIM-capable phones, read on the date shown on the page. Before payment, the plan page tells you what to check in your phone’s settings.
Corrections
If something here is wrong or out of date, write to contact@quokkasim.com with the page address. A correction ships with the next update, and the checked date on the page moves with it.
